Machining is a process of changing the size or performance of the workpiece with machining machine. According to the temperature state of the workpiece to be processed, we generally divide it into cold processing and hot processing. Generally, it is processed under normal temperature and will not cause chemical or physical phase change of workpiece, which is called cold working. Generally, the processing above or below the normal temperature will cause the chemical or physical phase change of the workpiece, which is called hot processing. Cold working can be divided into cutting and pressure processing according to the difference of processing methods. Heat treatment, forging, casting and welding are common in heat processing.
1. Primary danger
Machining shears are machines that cut sheet metal into different standard blocks according to production requirements. The plate shears have upper and lower knife edges. Generally, the lower knife edge is installed on the worktable, and the upper knife edge reciprocates to shear. The maximum thickness and width of the blank and the strength limit value of the blank cut by a certain shearing machine are bound. If the limit value is exceeded, the machine may be damaged. The knife edge of the shearing machine is very sharp, and the fingers in the operation are very close to the knife edge, so improper operation will lead to serious accidents such as finger cutting.
2. Safety protection methods
(1) Before working, carefully check whether all parts of the plate shearer are normal, whether the electrical equipment is intact, whether the safety protection equipment is reliable, and whether the lubrication system is unblocked. Then add lubricating oil, test run, and test cut before using. When more than two people work together, it is necessary to conclude that one person has unified command, and only when there is no obstacle on the table and around can the machine tool be started to cut materials.
(2) The shears are not allowed to cut two kinds of plates with different specifications and materials at the same time. It is forbidden to cut without material. The surface of the cut sheet needs to be smooth. It is not allowed to cut the narrow sheet which cannot be pressed.
(3) When operating the shearing machine, the energy should be combined. When feeding, the fingers should be 200 mm away from the knife edge and away from the pressing equipment. During feeding and reclaiming, the steel plate shall be prevented from being scratched, and the steel plate cut off shall be prevented from hurting people. The foot switch shall be equipped with a solid protective cover to prevent heavy objects from falling on the foot switch or stepping on it by mistake. Do not refuel or adjust the machine tool while driving.
(4) All kinds of plate shears should adjust the gap of the knife edge properly according to the regular thickness of the plate to prevent accidents caused by improper use.
(5) The brake of the plate shearer should be checked frequently to ensure its reliability, so as to prevent the brake from loosening and the upper blade from suddenly falling down to hurt people.
(6) The edge of sheet metal and strip after cutting is sharp, sometimes there is burr, so it should be prevented from scratching.
(7) In the process of operation, select safe hand things to finish feeding, positioning, picking up and finishing leftover materials, which can prevent fingers from being crushed by the mold.
