Typical structure of precision injection mold:
1. Mold parts
The cavity is formed directly, and the parts of plastic parts are usually composed of male mold and female mold.
2. Casting system
The plastic flow from the nozzle to the cavity is called gating system.
3. Part of the guide
In order to ensure the accuracy of the middle surface guide rail components in the case of combination of dynamic and constant modulus, there are usually: guide post (GP), positioning block, ejector guide post (EGP), etc.
4. Split core pull mechanism
Before taking out the concave and convex side holes or plastic parts, they must be separated first in order to demould smoothly. Commonly used mechanisms are: slider cavity (including main mode core pulling slider, explosive slider), pin, etc.
5. Jack up equipment
A device for ejecting plastic parts from a mold during mold opening.
6. Cooling and heating system
In order to meet the requirements of injection molding process for mold temperature, the mold is equipped with cooling or heating system. A substance that usually provides cooling channels, heating or oil in a mold.
